The second stage of The Kenmore refurbishment is open and already proving itself very popular with the locals, if the queues for the dining room are anything to go by. Designed to be “less of a tavern” and more a series of linked intimate spaces for eating, drinking and socialising, this stage now adds a major internal and external dining offering to the already completed bar and gaming spaces. Patrons can now occupy a variety of spaces that are cleverly seperated by low walls, a curved bar, planters, mesh screens, illuminated bottle displays and bench seating. A new alfresco area has also been added and is anchored back to the original building with a chimney stack that highlights the use of honest and humble materials throughout.

We are very proud to have been a part of this refurbishment and congratulate our clients’ for thinking outside of the box to provide the locals of the South-West Brisbane region with a warm and engaging alternative to the generic pub stereotype.
