The office is currently finalising documentation on another pub refurbishment, the Seaford Hotel in Adelaide. The existing building was built in the last few decades and our work here represents the first renovation it has had. Generally speaking we refurbish buildings that have had many additions and alterations over the years and our first task often is to strip the building back to its original form. At the Seaford it is a little different – we’ve been able to work with much of what was there and integrate a design that will change the look and feel of the spaces without necessarily changing their shape. The tender for construction will commence in the coming weeks with the refurbishment due to be completed in April next year. We’re excited about seeing our design come to life.
