Remember the old beer garden at the Norman Hotel? Remember the sea plastic chairs on exposed agg concete underfoot, an open space with no real character? Well, that space is no more. With a very quick turnover timeframe for this project and a limited budget, we’ve transformed the space by breaking it into more intimate zones and adding various elements, colour and of course landscaping. And it was all ready to open just in time for the Melbourne Cup. We’re moving indoors next, with a minor refurbishment planned for Norman’s Bar and the Corner Bar.
