In late 2009 we were commisioned to prepare an interior design for the refurbishment of a space at the north east corner of the Nambour RSL building. The brief called for a more traditional ‘pub’ style bar that would still sit well in its ‘club’ environs, and a cafe at the interface between the main entry to the club and the new bar. A notable feature of the design and perhaps the cornerstone of the refurbishment itself has been the use of a Timorous Beasties designed Brintons carpets in ‘Devine Moth’ and ‘Reed Stem’ patterns. Construction is now underway on the fit out and it is due to open to the public in August.
