After quite substantial feasibility studies with the client, and subsequent refinement of the building form and scale, Sandstone Point Hotel is in its final month of documentation ready to be on site in April. The form-based design has developed over time resulting in what we believe is a building fabric relevant to its context offering a dynamic beacon for its elevated coastal location. Its variety of typical hospitable spaces overflowing out onto the mass of ‘green’ capturing the picturesque vista of Pumicestone Passage is set to become a regular gathering place for locals and a destination for tourists alike.
