Earlier this year we were invited to submit a design proposal for a refurbishment to one of Brisbane’s landmark hotels. These images formed part of our presentation. Our proposal centred on opening up an existing under-utilised space into a functional courtyard beer garden. We proposed a retractable roof system over the outdoor space so it sould be used in all weather conditions and opened up a view corridor to the Brisbane River.
