Eatons Hill Hotel Featured
Eatons Hill Hotel has been featured in an 8-page spread in the June2011 issue of ‘QHA Review’, the Queensland Hospitality Association’s monthly publication. A photo of the hotel also made it to the cover.
EXTRACT: “The hotel’s design was completed by Brisbane-based consultancy KP Architects who created an impressive collection of different spaces within the hotel, which are distinctly separate and yet flow easily from one to another. An earthy colour palette is consistent throughout the entire hotel’s design, as is the extensive use of raw elements such as stone, recycled timber, raw concrete and huge floor-to-ceiling glass windows which create an atmosphere of bringing the outdoor elements in. In fact, the entire 7500 sq m hotel is built around a giant 150-year-old fig tree, which takes pride of place at the hotel’s front entrance.”
